The Home Assistant Voice PE (Preview Edition) is the official, open-source, privacy-first voice assistant hardware designed specifically for seamless integration with Home Assistant. This compact, sleek device brings powerful, local voice control to your smart home—without sending your commands to the cloud like Alexa or Google Home.

At just $59 MSRP (pricing varies by retailer), it’s an affordable way to preview and help shape the future of fully local, open voice assistants. Preloaded with ESPHome firmware (fully open-source on GitHub), it connects effortlessly to your Home Assistant instance via Wi-Fi and supports ongoing community-driven improvements in languages, wake words, and features.
