Do I need a registered electrician?
For new circuits, DB modifications, or anything beyond swapping/fitting approved devices on existing safe circuits, yes — we flag that during planning and can coordinate. Simple device installs on suitable existing points often do not.
Can you install devices I already bought?
Yes. Bring your own Shelly, Sonoff, or compatible gear — we still prefer hardware we stock so support stays simple.
Is Home Assistant required?
No. We can leave devices in a solid local/app setup. If you want HA, we configure for that path from day one.
Do you cover Gauteng?
Yes — on-site installs across Gauteng (and we can discuss further SA travel for larger jobs).
How long does a visit take?
A single device is often under an hour once on site. Room packs and multi-room days scale with device count, access, and network readiness.
What should I prepare before you arrive?
Wi-Fi password, clear access to switches/DB if needed, a decision on HA vs app-first, and the devices (or an Untamed order) ready to unpack.
