Shelly Presence Gen4 White

Shelly Presence Gen4 White – Advanced mmWave Presence Sensor with Multi-Zone Tracking, Zigbee & Matter

Upgrade your smart home with true presence detection. The Shelly Presence Gen4 is a compact, high-precision mmWave radar sensor that detects people even when they’re completely still — sitting, working, reading or sleeping. Unlike traditional PIR motion sensors that only react to movement, this Gen4 device delivers reliable occupancy sensing for more natural, accurate automations.

Key Features

• True presence detection – Detects still and moving people (up to 6 simultaneously)
• Up to 10 customisable detection zones – Create precise area-specific automations (e.g. only light the seating area in an open-plan room)
• Coverage up to 42 m² – Ideal for living rooms, open-plan spaces, offices and bedrooms
• 140° horizontal field of view (wall mount) with adjustable sensitivity and filtering to ignore pets, robot vacuums and near-ground movement
• Built-in ambient light sensor – Reports dark / twilight / bright states for lighting-aware scenes
• Multi-protocol connectivity: Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5 LE, Zigbee 3.0 and Matter over Wi-Fi
• Seamless integration with Home Assistant, Shelly Cloud, Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings and more
• Live visualisation map in the Shelly app so you can see detected presence in real time
• USB-C powered (5 V) – continuous operation, no batteries to replace
• Compact design with flexible mounting: freestanding base, adhesive tape or wall screws (optimal height ≈ 2 m)

Why Choose Shelly Presence Gen4?

Perfect for energy-efficient lighting, HVAC control, security presence monitoring and hands-free room automation. Because it senses actual human presence rather than just motion, lights stay on while you’re in the room (even if you’re still) and switch off reliably when the space is empty — helping reduce unnecessary energy use.

The advanced filtering and zone system make it highly customisable for South African homes and offices, whether you’re running a full Home Assistant setup or a simpler Matter/Zigbee ecosystem.
